LOCATION/LEGAL DESCRIPTION: 1 mile west of Okabena or 20 miles northwest of Jackson or 18 miles southwest of Windom; approximately 310 acres in S˝ Section 12 (less farmstead) and 20 acres in part of NEĽ Section 11, Township 103, Range 38 (Alba Township), Jackson County, MN.
An excellent pheasant, deer and waterfowl wildlife habitat development plan has been followed on this tract to create ideal wildlife corridors. Many tree plantings on CRP and RIM acreages complement the water habitat in the wetlands and the creek. Food plots are also established to attract pheasants and deer and provide good winter food. There are also remaining cropland fields which are rotated between corn and soybeans and these fields are prime, top-quality farmland.
